Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said the country would continue progressing in oil industry despite the current pressure on the country by its enemies.
The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said the company was to sign 9 contracts with domestic companies for oil production enhancement and maintenance projects.
The CEO of the East Oil and Gas Production Company said that plans were under way to add 2.5 million cubic meters to gas production capacity in Khangiran district, northeastern Iran.

Iran sits atop the world’s largest hydrocarbon reserves and is located on the energy corridor route. However, in the aftermath of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the United States has been using every tool at its disposal to keep Iran from becoming a key energy player.
An official with the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said the country’s current natural gas production capacity stood at 810 million cubic meters per day.
